This is a special update about the much anticipated NNDC scholarship scheduled to take place this year .

The Niger Delta Development Commission popularly known as NNDC is a parastatal that is under the Niger Delta ministry, it was established in 2000 with the mandate to bringing massive development to all states located in the Niger Delta and also educating the youths with the aim of bringing an end to militancy and other hostility.
One of the core mandate of NNDC is to provide easy access to education up to any level such as undergraduate, Master s and post Graduate to all youth who are from the Niger Delta region.
Please note that NNDC foreign scholarship form remains free of charge, you do not need to induce any one with money or any other form of reward.
NNDC scholarship eligibility courses
Only a few selected courses are available for now although there are indication that more will be added soon and they are as follows:
- Management Science
- Law
- Environmental science
- Information technology
- Medicine
- Engineering
- Geoscience
- Agricultural science
NNDC scholarship requirements
- If you want to a scholarship for a master degree program then you must have a minimum of 2:1. or second class upper division.
- Those who want a scholarship for a PhD degree program need to have a master degree from a reputable institution.
- Secondly you need to have applied and also secured an admission first in any foreign institution before you can be eligible for this scholarship program.
- You must be of good behavior.
- You must not be a member of any secret cult.
- You must be free from any criminal record.
- You must possess an NYSC discharge certificate.
General documents needed to be attached along are :
- You need to attach a postgraduate admission letter from the awarding institution.
- All your credentials.
- Attach your NYSC discharge certificate
- You need to attach your recent passport photographs not less than 6 months.
Take note :
Only candidates who are from the Niger Delta region will be consider.
You will be subjected to take a computer base test and an oral interview, only candidates who pass this test satisfactory will be considered.
How to Apply for Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)

To apply you have to first log on to NNDC scholarship portal which is located at http://forms.nddc.gov.ng/
Remember that you need a Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct, of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.
- Member of National Assembly/State House of Assembly
- Chairman of the LGA
- First Class Traditional Ruler
- High Court Judge
