LASPOTECH Portal: Lagos State Polytechnic is a Nigerian owned and managed higher institution of learning. From its name, it is owned by the Lagos state government and it is fondly referred to as LASPOTECH.

It was founded in 1977 and is carefully situated in the heart of Lagos at Ikorodu, Lagos State. Read through for updates from the LASPOTECH student application portal.

Gaining entrance into any of their programmes does not require one to sit for the Jamb examinations. Admissions are entirely based on O’level and OND results as applicable.

Below is all you need to know about how to gain entrance into the institution.

Lagos State Polytechnic offers a wide range of courses in diverse academic fields on both national diploma (ND) and higher national diploma (HND) levels.

These courses are both on a full time and part-time basis just you may like it. Note that the quality of education remains the same irrespective of your choice. So, the choice is yours to make.

LASPOTECH  Academic Programmes

The Lagos State Polytechnic has six part-time programmes that candidates can choose from. It is advisable you decide what programme you are going for before proceeding to apply. Here is a list of the programs:

➢ HND Day programme with the school located in Surulere

➢ ND Day programme with the school of part-time studies located in Surulere

➢ HND Regular which is a weekend programme

➢ ND Regular which is a weekend programme

➢ HND Evening with the school of part-time studies located in Ikorodu

➢ ND Evening with the school located in Ikorodu

How to Get LASPOTECH Part-Time Form

Like we said earlier, candidates seeking admission into Laspotech’s part-time programmes do not need to sit for the Jamb examinations.

They can simply go ahead to obtain the form with the relevant credentials. Forms are also sold online for easy access and to obtain a form, candidates will have to:

➢ Log onto www.mylaspotech.edu.ng

➢ Click 2024/2025 Admission

➢ Enter their personal details according to the prompt.

➢ Click the confirmation link sent to their mail

➢ Come back to the school portal via their login details, that is, username and password

➢ Pay the required fees using their ATM card on the Interswitch platform

➢ Go back to the admission page and complete the registration

➢ Upload the relevant documents and a passport photograph of not more than 20kb

➢ Proceed to print after submission.

LASPOTECH Admission Eligibility

➢ Applicants wishing for admission into the OND programme must possess a minimum of four credit passes obtained at O’level. They must also choose the institution as the first choice of institution in UTME and score not less than 150

➢ Applicants wishing to apply for admission into the HND programme must possess an ND certificate in a relevant field not less than lower credit. They must also have at least a year of post-ND Industrial work experience.

How to Check LASPOTECH Admission List Status

➢ You can check through the JAMB CAPS portal by visiting this link http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/acceptadmission.aspx or http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/app_candidates/candidateprofile.aspx

➢ You will be redirected to the homepage, enter your JAMB registration number in the field provided then click on the “Submit” button

➢ Your details such as JAMB score, institution, date of birth will be displayed on the screen.

➢ You can also check your admission status through the school website at https://admission.mylaspotech.edu.ng/Login

➢ Log in with your username and password then click on “Submit” and your admission status will be displayed.

➢ After viewing the admission status and if you had been admitted proceed to the payment page to pay the acceptance fees of N15,000 and print out your admission letter

➢ Take the admission letter and payment receipt to the school for clearance and registration.

LASPOTECH School Fees Schedule for New Students

➢ Result Screening fee N2,500

➢ Clearance Exercise fee N2,700

➢ LASPOTECH mobile fee N1,500

➢ Matriculation Fees N2,500

➢ Annex due fee N5,000

➢ Examination fee N5,000

➢ School fees (ND 1 = N27,950, ND 2 = N25,810, ND 3 = N27,110)

How to Pay LASPOTECH  School Fees

To pay your school fees online you need to know how much you are to pay and as well get your ATM cards ready. After these two steps, you may follow the steps below;

➢ Log on to the institution website, https://www.mylaspotech.edu.ng

➢ Navigate and click on the menu icon

➢ From the list of the menu, click on the student login

➢ On the next page, input your matric. number and password to log in

➢ Navigate and click on the payment tab.

➢ Generate your fees and check to see the details on the invoice are correct.

➢ Click on Pay now

➢ Input your card details and make payment.

➢ Ensure you print the payment confirmation page.

How to Check LASPOTECH Results Online

You may as well check out your scores in the courses via the institution portal, simply follow the steps below;

➢ Log on to the institution website, https://www.mylaspotech.edu.ng

➢ Navigate and click on the menu icon

➢ From the list of the menu, click on the student login

➢ On the next page, input your matric. number and password to log in

➢ Navigate and click on the results tab

➢ Choose the session and semester and submit. The results will be displayed on the next page. Please note that the results are viewable after they have been uploaded. So, if it’s not available, you may check back.
