1. Ghana International School (GIS)

Ghana International School is one of the topping international schools in Ghana providing and rendering world-class holistic education to aspiring students from the age of 3 to 18 years.

The Ghana International School offers a curriculum modelled and developed on the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Examination, IGCSE and GCE Advanced level with the English language as a means of instruction.

The Vilac International School was started in September 2008 and offers Cambridge International Examination (CIE), Ghana Education Service (GES) and British curricula to meet up with the rapidly growing world.

Vilac International School has two campuses.

The Lower School at East Legon. and Upper School at Achimota). It runs from Year 7 to 13 and SHS 1 to 3.

The school offers examinations which include Check Point (now Cambridge Secondary 1 for Year 9 students) and IGCSE which starts from Year 10 to Year 11.

The IGCSE examination is held in May/June and SHS in form 3 (WASSCE). There is as well the AS /A level for students who want to continue the sixth form.

5. Lincoln Community School

Lincoln Community School is accredited by the MSA, COLS and is a part of AISA and can be located at Dedeibaa Street Abelemkpe, Accra.

The school is a private and a not for profit preparatory college and an international school. The school has a large number of students whose parents are Ghanaian.

At Lincoln Community School, English is the language of instruction and classes are offered from preschool to grade 12.

Lincoln Community School offers Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programmes (DP) as authorized by International Baccalaureate (IB).

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters in August-December & January-June) and additionally into quarterly assessment periods.

6. American International School (AIS)

Founded in 2006, the school makes available an international education. AIS makes an American curriculum for students from grades Pre-K3 to 12th grade.

The school offers a limited bus service. It has been approved and accepted for candidacy by the MSA and by the ACSI and is a member of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) which operates 20 schools worldwide.

7. Springforth International School

Springforth International School is an English language Primary School from Class 1 all through Class 6. French is a compulsory foreign language for students in primary school and is taught in the school.

The school operates on the British National Curriculum, Key Stages 1 & 2, and as well as international textbooks and materials from the US and Ghana.

8. British International School (BIS)

BIS operates and offers the British National Curriculum for pre-school and the University of Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum for primary and secondary education.

9. German Swiss International School

Bilingual (English-German) international school and operates with English National and German curriculum. From nursery to class 10 (ages 1-15 years).

The upper classes are taught at three distinct levels of performance.
