- They must have at least five credit passes in their O’level results at first sitting and six credit passes at two sittings
- All eligible candidates must have scored 200 marks and above in the UTME examination
- Candidates must then score a high Mark in the Post Utme screening exercise.

How to Pay OAU Acceptance Fees
Aspirants who made OAU their first choice are advised to check their name on the university portal or via the JAMB CAPS to check if they have been admitted into the university.
Afterward, you are to proceed to make a payment of N20,000 to the university via the following process if the University has accepted you.
- Visit the university e-portal oauife.edu.ng or www.oauife.edu.ng
- Then navigate to the login section, enter your information which includes your JAMB registration number as the username and as well as the password.
- Proceed to the dashboard option where you are to make payment for Acceptance Fee
- Follow the instruction
- Select the card you want to make use of for the acceptance fee payment
- Ensure you have the stated amount in the account with at least N500 charges that may be charged alongside when you are making payment via the online portal
Obafemi Awolowo University Admission Cut Off Mark
The general cut off marks for gaining admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University is 200 marks. However, it is advisable to score above this mark in order to increase your chances of getting admission.
Also, several departments have stipulated their own cut off marks and OAU does not accept the Jamb stipulated cut off marks of 180 marks. Only candidates who meet the OAU stipulated cut off marks as well as those for their chosen departments will be eligible to take the Post Utme examination

How to Pay Obafemi Awolowo University School Fees
- The first thing you have to do is to log on to the university student portal via eprotal.oauife.edu.ng
- Log on with your default information which includes your JAMB registration number as the Username and also as the Password
- Click on pay school fee on your dashboard; this will take you to a page where you can choose from an option of either paying via online banking or via REMITA
Obafemi Awolowo University Hostel Allocation
Fresh undergraduates and final year students will apply for Bed Space Allocation placement directly on the e-portal after payment of appropriate fees, including accommodation fees.
Candidates will be required to print 3 copies of Bed Space Clearance Forms from the e-portal which must be duly signed by the student and the Hall Warden. The forms will be administered as follows:
- Students are required to keep one
- Submit one copy to the Dean, Student Affairs
- Submit the third copy to the Hall Warden to qualify him/her to OCCUPY the bed space Please note that failure to submit the Bed Space Clearance Forms as stipulated automatically disqualifies the Bed Space Allocation.
