 CRUTECH is a state government-owned and managed university situated in Calabar. The university is fondly referred to as CRUTECH. It offers courses both on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, read through for the latest information and updates from its application portal.

CRUTECH was established in 2002 following the merging of Polytechnic of Calabar, Ibrahim Babangida College of Agriculture, and The College of Education. Her motto is Technology for human advancement.

The higher institution of learning offers courses both on undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It has well over thirty (30) courses at the undergraduate level and several others at the postgraduate level.

CRUTECH Portal Payments

• First, generate a Student Payment Code
• Then Proceed to make payment
• New Students are expected to pay acceptance fees before school fees payment
• Returning students can pay school fees
• Returning students who haven’t paid previous fees are expected to pay old fees before paying for the current session
• Click Login to get access to your student dashboard

CRUTECH Portal Result Checking

You can check your results once they are released by the course coordinators or on the CRUTECH portal. It will normally be pasted on boards in the department. You can check with your matric number. You may as well check your results through your part adviser or head of department.

How to Pay School Fees on CRUTECH Portal

School fees payment begins with you knowing how much you are expected to pay but you will need to know and pay your acceptance fees first. Kindly follow the steps below;

• Log on to the CRUTECH Portal, crutech.edu.ng
• Navigate and click on eduportal
• Navigate and click on Get Your Student Payment Code
• Input your UTME Number in the New Student space provided and then click on proceed.
• Your Student Payment Code (SPC) will be generated and displayed and also forwarded to your registered phone number.
• Next is to click on the Acceptance fee icon.
• In the space provided, input your Student Payment Code (SPC) and click on proceed.
• Choose your level and click on proceed.
• Select your preferred payment method and then make a payment
• Then click on get Acceptance /Admission Letter and follow through to print your Acceptance Form, CRUTECH Admission, and the fee schedule
• Next is to click on pay fees for school fees payment
• Make your school fees payment and print evidence of payment.

How to Register Courses on Student Portal

To begin your course registration, it is very pertinent that you know the courses to register. Once you arm yourself with this knowledge.

Next is to obtain the course registration form after the faculty screening. Follow the guidelines carefully. It is best you get guidance from senior colleagues such as your departmental executives.

CRUTECH Admission Cut Off Mark

As part of the admission requirements to gain admission into CRUTECH, aside from meeting their O’Level admission requirements, you must score up to their UTME minimum JAMB score which will be revealed below for those who do not know this.

As part of CRUTECH admission requirements for fresh students, any candidate apply or seeking admission into this institution must score at least 180 and above.

CRUTECH is one of the few universities in Nigeria that refused to drop their cut off point as demanded by JAMB.

CRUTECH Post UTME 2024 Eligibility

• Candidates who choose the Cross River University of Technology as their first or second choice
• Candidate must have a minimum of 150 in the UTME Examination
• Candidates who have five (5) O’ Level credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) or are awaiting results that shall be released before the completion of the admission exercise are eligible to apply.
• Candidate must be 16 (Sixteen) year of age
