What You Need to Know About AGIP Postgraduate Scholarship 2024

Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, on behalf of the NNPC/NAE PSC, is committed to the training and development of manpower as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

In pursuance of this, NAE invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Nigerian graduates for the 2024-2025 Post Graduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The award is in two categories: –

• Overseas – For study in a reputable overseas university
• Local – For study in a recognized Nigerian university

Eligible Level/Fields of Study

Only candidates with an offer of masters admission in disciplines related to the following areas should apply;

• Geosciences
• Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical)
• Petroleum Economics
• Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

Value of Scholarships: The NAE scholarship award applies to tuition, books, field trips, accommodation, living expenses, and a return economy ticket for a selected one-year course of study.

General Requirements for the application include the following:

Clearly scanned copy of the following documents:

• A passport photograph with a white background, size is 450px by 450px and not more than 200kb. Ensure that the passport is not more than three months old
• A birth certificate
• An O’level certificate
• An admission letter
• A JAMB result
• A school identity card
• Proof of local government area of origin
• A letter from the paramount traditional ruler and
• A letter from the CDC chairman.
• A National Identification Number (NIN)

The documents must be named accordingly for easier identification and to avoid a mix-up of the documents during the uploading.

• The necessary documents must be attached during the uploading
• A valid email and phone contact must be provided for effective communication.
• A valid identity card (National identity card, driver’s license, or voter’s card)
• A valid international passport data page for overseas category only and must be valid for travel at least one year from September 2024 (PDG)
• An admission letter for postgraduate studies 2024 academic session into any relevant university (PDG)
• A bachelor’s degree certificate (PDG)
• The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate (PDG)
• The NAE compliance declaration form (PDG)

Application Procedure

To apply for the NAOC scholarship, the following procedure is required:

• Visit the site to register
• Click on the “Apply Now” tab on the website.
• Click on “Register Now” to Create an account.
• Go to your email box to activate your account.
• Return to the scholarship website
• Enter your email and password to upload your information
• Enter your personal information which includes your passport, educational documents National Identification Number and the required letters.
• The name used for the application must be the exact name on all your documents. If otherwise, obtain a sworn affidavit certificate and upload it.
• Crosscheck your work to eliminate all forms of possible errors during uploading.
• If satisfied, click on “Apply Now” to submit your information.
• A confirmatory email and SMS would be sent to you as proof of a successful application.
• Return to the website and enter your email and password to Download Here your information and print it out.
• Go to your Head of Department to sign the document Download Hereed.
• Scan the signed document and upload it to the website. This is for verification purposes.
• Peradventure the National Identification Number is unavailable, ensure you get it.
• Go to the website and update your information with the National Identification Number.

Note to overseas applicants: You are encouraged to apply for the local category of the postgraduate awards.
